Mughal Gardens, President’s Palace, New Delhi

Today we went to Mughal Gardens, before my parents leave on Thursday. We are fortunate to be here at this time of year as they only open for 1 month each year. What a treat they were to see, even if the process to get in was a long and painful one.
M was at work today and couldn’t come with us. I suspect we may be returning with him before we go home.

National Rail Museum

My parents have arrived and we had a day out at the National Rail Museum, New Delhi. It made a welcome change (for the kids especially) from historical sites and shopping centres. Freedom to run around and explore, plus a train ride.

Red Fort and Ghandi Museum, Delhi, India

Today was the first day since our arrival that M has been off work so we made the most of it and headed into Delhi.

We started at the Red Fort in the morning. Had lunch at ‘The Salad Story’ in Khan market and finished in the afternoon at the Gandhi Museum. Lots of ideas for homeschooling this week!
